Good but...

Great beat! Loved the synth also! My only gripe is the voice, or I guess voices... I rarely like the computerized voices in songs, unless they say like one word or are supposed to be a computer terminal. For instance I liked it when he said prepare to die, just wish it was a bit lower tone, to really make it seem menacing.

abyss776 responds:

Thanks a lot for the review! I'm glad you liked it! The voices I added partially as filler when I was first working on this song, but for one reason or another I just decided I liked them and decided to keep using them throughout the song. Regardless, I understand where you're coming from with your opinion on computerized voices. I probably won't be using them in my next song.

Anyway, thanks again for the review!

Beautiful

Reminds me of my grandparents. Hopefully I can get out of this hard time I'm having with my mom and dad, so I can say this song reminds me of them too. :')

DylanGlow responds:

Hey Platinum! I'm glad the lyrics remind you of your grandparents. Having someone there for you is great! I hope everything works out with you mom and dad. Thanks for the great score!

Got a question...

Why is it that everything you post... is AWESOME!?!?! :P
10/10 and 5/5 of course. Bravo ParagonX9!

YAY!

Awesome :D

Should have known

I originally saw this on youtube... should have known that something this awesome came from Newgrounds!!! Great song Drury!!! :D

Torrent of Emotions

First there was sorrow, and reflection, then happyness/ ambition, then back to sorrow... but hope... yes, sorrow and hope both came in after that. Followed by a torrent of memories. Then... Triumph! Courage! and then almost as if standing face to face with my greatest fear/challenge! And as all seems lost and hopeless... huh... well damn it stops then... :(

Amazing!

This song is amazing! I am working on a video game, and was wondering if I could get a version without the kicks and taps at the begining... Love the original, just need something exactly like it, just different for my game. :P It would go on the title screen. (Not a very big game though, currently doing it in game maker, but might do it in flash so I can post it here...)

TranceCrafter responds:

sure man, feel free to use this song in your game :)

unfortunately, the flp for the song is located on a hard drive that went to my old computer. It's also extremely bloated and won't import properly into FL without causing my computer to start having a seizure lol.

so basically, it would be a real hassle trying to get it onto my new computer AND import it AND edit it so it sounds the way you want it. sorry.

may I suggest that you start the track at about exactly 1:39? and then fade the end out if you want too.

Nice work!

Not bad! Has a nice sound to it, you are a very good composer. A little on the long side though. Keep the great music comming though! :)

Absolutely Beautiful.

I don't want to sound imasculine, but at the same time I don't care. This brought tears to my eyes. Beautiful story to go with the song, reminds me of something from a sad movie. As for the song, I'd say its just as good as some of Thomas Newmans pieces of work. Congradulations on a beautiful song. :')
